Bracket Basics: The events of one round
Each round typically begins the morning after the final game of the previous round and lasts about a week.
The following events make up one round of a tourney:
- The round begins.
- Salary values are adjusted for each player, based on season statistics and game situations.
- The lineup adjustment period begins.
- The lineup adjustment period ends five minutes before the first game is scheduled to start.
- The games are played.
- Teams are scored and ranked.
- Teams are advanced to the next round or eliminated from the tourney.
- The round ends.
